welcome to assign!

we are a back to basics gpsl for all of your fun and creative needs! there aren't too many rules in place to follow since we are all adults and hopefully know how the roleplaying world works. apart from that, this place is designed to be ran with you, not just for you.

applying and activity

all that is required is a journal resembling your celebrities name (no numbers or underscores please, stagenames are allowed) and a contact post. wire is completely optional but it is strongly encouraged! once accepted, you'll have three days to post an introduction into ~collect. we are pretty lenient when it comes to updating. every three weeks, you will be required to post in your journal and answer the majority of your comments. the required post can be anything you'd like, a moodboard, a playlist, a substantial update, anything as long as comments are enabled and answered within one week of posting. we highly encourage journal activity since we aren't aiming to be a wire based gpsl. we would like everyone to feel involved, including journal based characters! we have one subcomm, collect that is for intros, random stuff, lyrics and community activity announcements.

overriding, hiatuses/extensions, etc.

keeping your friends list updated and interacting on the friend's page are the two biggest things we look at for activity. anyone with a friend's list more than two weeks out of date can be subject to an override or removal. anyone who never introed, is not seen commenting on the friends page or is frequently abandoning their posts (not replying to a significant amount of comments after posting) will be available for override. extensions are granted only if you have shown activity (commenting, updating, ect,.) two weeks prior to your update being due. please use the members post to request an extension! hiatuses will be handled on a case by case basis. please use the members post to request a hiatus. please remember to comment the post if you send us a pm! ic/ooc issues will be handled promptly and maturely. as stated above, we are all adults and we should know how this rule works without being explained. if you believe there is an ic/ooc issue that you would like addressed by the mods, please do not hesitate to send us a pm!
